B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) - 2 Years

The secondary teacher education programme commonly known as B.Ed, is meant for preparing teachers for secondary/ senior secondary school. the course is approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) Jaipur. And affiliated to Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut.

DURATION & INTAKE

a) The B.Ed. programme shall be of a duration of atleast one academic year. b) There shall be a limit of 100+100=200 students for ensuring optimum utilization of physical and instructional infrastructure and expertise of the teaching staff Division into appropriate batches may be done at the institutional level for effective curriculum transaction.

D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education) - 2 Years

The secondary teacher education programme commonly known as B.Ed, is meant for preparing teachers for secondary/ senior secondary school. the course is approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) Jaipur. And affiliated to Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut. The quality of the education system plays a major role in the development of the country as it builds up the human resource of the future. But the sustenance of a vibrant educational system depends to a large extent on the quality of teaching at the elementary level. In order to improve the quality of the teachers, the government of India has set up various institutes that provide D.El.Ed:(Diploma in Elementary Education) after the successful completion of a course in teacher's training. The institute provide BTC, Basic Training Certificate course so that maximum number of teachers can avail the training and help improve the quality of education in India. The Diploma in Elementary Education courses in the field of education are increasingly becoming popular as recruitment boards of primary teachers in various Indian states regard the D.El.Ed. as a part of the minimum eligibility criteria for appointment of primary teachers.

Eligibility for Intake

A pass in +2+3 / Graduation or equivalent.
